Before installing make sure you’re an Admin and using macOS 11 or later.

Installation

1. Run the installation script
   • Copy the script from this channel
   • Open the Terminal app
   • Paste the script in and press Enter
2. Enter your password
   • Type in your Mac password
   • Keep in mind that your password won't be visible on screen as you type (this is a security feature)
   • Press Enter after typing your password
3. Wait for completion
   • The script will automatically download and install Hydrogen
   • It will also be reinstall Roblox
   • After the installation a new app called “Hydrogen-M” will be installed

Usage

1. First steps
   • Open Roblox.
   • A popup will appear asking for your Hydrogen key
   • Click “Get key” or paste in your key if you already have one
2. Paste in your script
   • Open the Hydrogen-M app
   • Paste the script you want to execute into the app
3. Execute the script
   • Join any Roblox game
   • Switch back to the Hydrogen-M app
   • Click "Run Script"

If you get any errors during installation contact a member of the support team or make a ticket.

Extra

• Keep in mind that if you go back to the Work.ink tab before the 45 second timer is over you WILL have to start over again.
• Disable all ad blockers or any extensions that may interfere with Work.ink
• This shouldn’t take longer than 5 minutes (if it does you’re probably doing it wrong :3)

The free keys last 24 hours. But you can buy an adless keys which last longer here.

Not all scripts are compatible with Hydrogen. If a script doesn't work, it's either outdated or not compatible with Hydrogen. You can report non-functional scripts here.

To auto-execute a script, open your autoexecute folder using the command below.

open ~/Hydrogen/autoexecute

There should be a file called "MYSCRIPT.txt", open that file using TextEdit and paste your script inside it. You can also make a new file using the command below.

touch ~/Hydrogen/autoexecute/script.txt

A port error usually means you haven't entered a key. To fix this, close Roblox and paste the command below into your terminal, you should get a pop-up asking for your key.

rm ~/Library/Application\ Support/Hydrogen/key.txt

If you still didn’t get a pop-up after running the command you should try reinstalling Hydrogen.

To remove Hydrogen from your Mac, you can use the script below.

cd && curl -LJs "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nullstate9/roblox-stuff/refs/heads/main/executors/hydro-uninstaller.sh" -o "./hydro-uninstaller.sh" && chmod +x hydro-uninstaller.sh && sudo ./hydro-uninstaller.sh

Keep in mind that the script will keep the Hydrogen folder inside your home directory. It reinstalls the normal version of Roblox and removes the Hydrogen app. You can use it to play safely if Hydrogen is detected. If you want a full manual uninstall, delete both Roblox and Hydrogen, along with their folders, and then reinstall Roblox from the website.

Both Intel and Silicon Macs are supported, as long as they are running macOS 11 or newer (Tahoe is semi-broken, works for some people doesn't for others). You can check your version by typing sw_vers in the Terminal app.

Currently, Hydrogen is supported on macOS only. iOS and Windows versions are being developed. The Android version has been discontinued.

You can find scripts on the websites listed below. However, please keep in mind that Hydrogen doesn't actively monitor these sites, and they may contain malicious scripts, so be sure to check them carefully. Also, please avoid asking for scripts in the server, as some people have been sending malicious scripts through DMs. If someone sends you a script that you think is malicious, please make a ticket and report it.

Currently, Hydrogen does not support multiple instances. It's an upcoming feature and will be added later. However, there is a way to use multiple instances without Hydrogen. Click here to get AppleBlox, a Roblox launcher that supports launching multiple instances.

To fix this error make sure that you are on an administrator account and that the Terminal app has Full Disk Access.

Check if you are an administrator

1. Open Settings and go to “Users & Groups”
2. Check if your account is listed as an Admin

Give Terminal Full Disk Access

1. Open Settings and go to “Privacy & Security”
2. Go to “Full Disk Access”
3. Press the plus icon at the bottom
4. Add Terminal to the list

If that didn’t fix the error make a ticket.

This error means the server refused to process your request, this could happen due to a bunch of different reasons but simply using a VPN fixes this issue.

You can use any VPN but if you want decent free VPN then ProtonVPN is recommended.

To change your DNS open Settings and go to “Wi-Fi” then press the details button and go to the “DNS” tab. Set your primary dns to 1.1.1.1 by pressing the plus icon to add a new address, make sure it’s the first one in the list.

Hydrogen isn’t officially supported on virtual machines. We can’t guarantee functionality. If you manage get Hydrogen working in a VM we will NOT be able to help you with any issues.
